My experience as a funeral attendant has given me a unique window into the care, disposition, and honoring of the body once one dies, across many faith and cultural traditions. It has led me to my work as a funeral celebrant, which is a natural extension of my role as a death midwife. Talking about your loved one & learning their wishes for the ceremony as well as your own, whether it’s held at home or in a more contemporary setting
